20 Therefore, [a]whoever swears by the altar, swears both by [b]the altar and by everything on it. 21 And [c]whoever swears by the sanctuary, swears both by the [d]sanctuary and by Him who (A)dwells within it. 22 And [e]whoever swears by heaven, (B)swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.
